Diwali is next week and at In-Sattva®, we couldn’t be more excited!
Diwali, or Deepawali, is known as The Festival of Lights, and is celebrated worldwide. It is signified by the ceremonious lighting of diyas or candles, cleaning of homes, and gathering of loved ones over a five day period. For some Diwali signifies the Indian New Year and while some celebrate for other spiritual reasons, the theme remains the same: the triumph of good over evil. This is a time to remember how important those we love are to us and to celebrate that love.
At In-Sattva®, we’re no different! Our team is looking forward to eating lots of delicious food (already started!), seeing family and friends we don’t get to see often, and celebrating the festive season. We will be lighting sparklers and candles in our offices and home, and going to social gatherings all the while looking forward to dancing, eating, and catching up.
